Pre vs Post Stain
While we offer both products we highly recommend a post stained fence for the following reasons:
- applying stain to wood that has naturally dried over 2 to 6 weeks provides the best results
- can’t see flaws in the wood if pre stained
- hard to match if pickets have to be replaced in the future
Also, while staining is optional we highly recommend it to prolong the life of your fence.
